Programa Didáctico Basado en Actividades Experimentales para Desarrollar la Actitud Científica en los Estudiantes

Abstract

The excessive use of information technology now IT, by students in their desire to solve and deliver the exercises proposed by their teachers without prior analysis and identification, the exercise proposed is a problem that mechanizes the student and does not allow to achieve the expected achievements.
The objective of the research was to awaken the investigative spirit in the students of the programming methodology subject and test their scientific attitude. To do this, he was placed in front of a routine of experimental activities within the classrooms, which he had to solve without the use of IT and then be tested in the laboratory.
The field work was carried out with students from the Professional School of Systems Engineering now EPIS of the National University José María Arguedas now UNAJMA and consisted of three interrelated stages: The first stage was of a diagnostic type applied to a population divided into two sections, and data collection was performed with a Test to measure the Scientific Attitude related to programming. Once the groups were divided and considering two sub stages (observation and theorizing), the problem statement was determined (a finding obtained by the test that serves as an antecedent for the second stage). For the second stage, we proceeded with the treatment of test data and the formulation of hypotheses; and as a final stage its confirmation.  The Didactic Program Based on Experimental Activities has had a significant effect of 0.05 with respect to the progress of the Scientific Attitude; From this statistical analysis it is concluded that: “The Didactic Program Based on Experimental Activities”, significantly influences the development of the “Scientific Attitude”, of the students of the Programming Methodology of the EPIS of UNAJMA.
